Dubbed Australia’s Lifestyle Doctor, Dr Karen Phillip is gearing up for a tour of several DYMOCKS stores to share her invaluable advice and help people build stronger relationships.

As well as being a regular on Channel 9’s TODAY show and Radio 2GB, Dr Karen is a leading relationship expert, media commentator and professional Counselling Psychotherapist. Karen has a wealth of experience, both as a counsellor to thousands of couples, and from her personal life, which she shares in her latest book, OMG We’re Getting Married: 7 essential things to know before we say I do.

And her author appearances typically involve a lot more than just shaking hands and signing books.

“When I’m talking with people about by my latest book, OMG We’re Getting Married, we often discuss how it relates to their own personal situation. It’s almost like running a travelling counselling session, and it makes me smile to see people walk away feeling resolved, with this step-by-step guide to provide support when I’m not there,” explains Dr Karen.

It’s easy to get caught up in the wonder of a new relationship, or the romance of an impending wedding, but as Dr Karen reminds us, we need to take time to have some in-depth conversations to keep things on track in the long term.

“I have written (OMG We’re Getting Married) to ensure you know what you need to know prior to making that commitment, and to assist you to unravel any perplexity in your relationship before matters become too big.”

Dr Karen’s series of author appearances kicks off at Castle Towers DYMOCKS on 2 April at 12pm, followed by the Wollongong store on 9 April, with more dates to be announced. For tour news and updates, follow her on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/OfficialDrKarenPhillip/?fref=ts

This tour provides a unique opportunity for audiences to meet the expert acclaimed worldwide by numerous industry leaders, sporting and celebrity clients.

Recently, Dr Karen joined up with winner of The Voice Australia (Season 3) Anja Nissen in a soon-to-be-released exclusive interview about powerful young women in the spotlight dealing with life, love and relationships.
